Upcoming Games to Look forward to

There are no shortages of great video games, but with so many to choose from it’s hard to decide which ones you should play. This list will help you narrow down your options, as I’ve scoured the web to find all the upcoming games that look like they’ll be worth your time. You can expect these titles hitting shelves in 2022:

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Wrath of the Druids

Have you ever wanted to travel back in time and slash your way through the Vikings? Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Wrath of the Druids may be just what you’re looking for. It’s a new game in the Assassin’s Creed series that takes place during Denmark in 1049, and it follows the story of a man named Jarl Borghildr. In this prequel to the original Assassin’s Creed game, you can explore nine different areas across Denmark and fight enemies using swords, bows and arrows, or throwing axes—and there are also puzzles to solve!

The Viking Age was a time period where people were very superstitious; they believed in magic powers such as rune stones (which were made out of stone). If someone said something bad about them then they would use magic spells on them so that they couldn’t speak anymore – until someone else came along who could undo these spells!

The Far Cry 6

  • March 2022 (TBA)
  • Xbox One, PS4, PC

The Far Cry series has been around since 2004 and continues to be one of the most popular games in this genre. The Far Cry 6 release date is yet to be announced but it will be available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. The game will take place in Montana where you play as a character named Nick Rye who joins forces with a local Native American tribe to fight against an evil cult leader.

Gotham Knights

  • Play as Batman, Robin, Batgirl or Catwoman
  • The game is set in the Batman universe. Players will be able to play as Batman and Robin or choose to control any one of the three female characters.
  • Gotham Knights is a dark and gritty action-adventure game in which players will be able to explore Gotham City while fighting crime and solving puzzles.

Black Legend

Black Legend is a single-player action-adventure game that takes place in a fictional world. The game follows on from Black Legend 2, and features new characters and locations while also bringing back some familiar faces. You play as one of two main characters who are trying to hunt down an evil army known as Dark Heroes, who have been wreaking havoc across the kingdom.

As you play through the game, you’ll be able to upgrade your character’s abilities with new powers and abilities like being able to breathe fire or shoot arrows at enemies. There are also many side quests available throughout the story so even if you finish playing through it once there will still be plenty of reason for you to go back again!

Black Legend is being developed by Ubisoft

Bright Memory Infinite

Bright Memory Infinite is a sci-fi RPG that is a sequel to Bright Memory, which released in 2019. The game is set in the same universe as both Bright Memory and its successor, and players will be able to transfer their save file from one game to another.

In Bright Memory Infinite: Dark Blue, you play as a new character who has just arrived on Earth from an alternate dimension. The goal of this installment is to uncover your past while exploring different worlds and meeting interesting characters along the way.

World of Warcraft Shadowlands

World of Warcraft Shadowlands

The World of Warcraft Shadowlands is set in a new world, with a new story arc and characters. It will be a shared world, meaning that it can be played by multiple players at once. The game will take place in the Warcraft universe, so it’s possible you’ll encounter familiar faces from previous entries in the series if you’re lucky! It’s also going to be a multiplayer game: this means that you’ll need at least one other person around to play with before you can get started (but hey–maybe they’ll make some friends along the way?!)

Dead Island 2

Dead Island 2 is a game that is already out, and it’s more or less what you’d expect from a sequel to Dead Island. It’s an action-adventure survival horror game developed by Sumo Digital, and if you’ve played the original game you’ll feel right at home here. While it doesn’t quite capture the magic of its predecessor, there are still plenty of things to enjoy in Dead Island 2.

Gran Turismo 7

Gran Turismo 7 is a racing game being developed by Polyphony Digital, who have previously worked on the series. It is being published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. The game is going to be the eighth game in the Gran Turismo series, and it will use Unreal Engine 4 for graphics rendering instead of Polyphony’s proprietary engine.

Shadow Warrior 3

Shadow Warrior 3 is a first person shooter set in the future, with an open world and an isometric view. It’s a follow-up to the first Shadow Warrior game, which came out in 2013. The game has advanced graphics and better gameplay than before, but still maintains its original feel.

You play as Lo Wang, who travels back to his homeland after being hired by Mr. Yoshida of Yakuza. There you find yourself in a world full of magic and demons; but it won’t be easy getting there as you’ll have to fight your way through many enemies on your journey!

Vampire : The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2

A sequel to the original game, Bloodlines 2 is set in Los Angeles, California. In it you will play as a newly-turned vampire who must learn how to survive in this strange new world of being undead.

The first Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines was released in 2004 and set in 2020s San Francisco during an event called Gehenna (which is basically Armageddon). It was critically acclaimed for its compelling character interactions, deep role-playing elements and intricate storyline with multiple endings. Players were given free rein over what type of character they wanted to create — from choosing their clan affiliation or vampiric bloodline through physical traits such as strength or dexterity; all the way down to clothing choices and even hairstyles!

These games are shaping up to be some of the best games of 2022

Games that have been announced:

  • Anthem (EA) – The next game from BioWare, the studio behind Mass Effect and Dragon Age. It’s a sci-fi action RPG where you play as a Freelancer tasked with exploring an abandoned world.
  • Beyond Good & Evil 2 (Ubisoft) – The long awaited sequel to the 2003 cult classic, Beyond Good & Evil 2 has been rumored for years but only recently confirmed for 2022 release on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Games that have been in development for awhile:

Keep in mind though, these are all just predictions at this point—there is no guarantee any of these games will be released next year (or maybe even ever).
